TROUBLESHOOTING
If the board is powered and the red led remains off:
Make sure wiring is correct
Ÿ
Make sure there is voltage in the range 12Vdc to 18Vdc in the RS485
Ÿ
power terminal block, between (+) and (-).
If the board does not communicate with the PC or with Vesta:
Make sure the red led is on and, if so, follow the steps indicated above.
Ÿ
Make sure the green led blinks once a second. If it blinks faster, this
Ÿ
means that the board is in BOOT MODE (see Lapis manual). If the
green led is on or off, cut-off power from the board for about 10
seconds and turn back on.
Make sure RS485 bus terminal wiring is correct.
Ÿ
Make sure the BUS RS485 cable is not interrupted and connected with
Ÿ
either Vesta or Clavis (See relevant manual).
Check the Lapis troubleshooting procedure.
Ÿ
If the sensor input does not work:
Make sure wiring is correct
Ÿ
Make sure there are no voltages, other than those listed in this manual,
Ÿ
likely to damage the input.
Make sure the switch or relay or voltage-free contact work correctly
Ÿ
Check the Lapis troubleshooting procedure.
Ÿ
Ÿ
If the problem persists after these checks, contact your dealer or
service center.
