Switch on the sensor.
Alignment can be performed with a clear protective field by observing the LEDs,
see chapter "Display elements".

Loosen the screws of the mounting brackets or device columns just enough
that the sensor can still move.
Ä
Turn the receiver to the left until LED1 still flashes green but does not yet illu-
minate red. If necessary, you may have to turn the transmitter beforehand.

Note down the position of the twist angle.
Ä
Turn the receiver to the right until LED1 still flashes green but does not yet il-
luminate red.
Ä
Note down the position of the twist angle.

Set the optimum position of the receiver. This lies in the middle of the two val-
ues for the twist angle to the left and right.
Ä
Tighten the fastening screws of the receiver.
Ä
Now align the transmitter according to the same method, paying attention to
the display elements of the receiver while doing so, see chapter "Display ele-
ments".

Connect the device to the machine interface connection and switch on the
voltage supply.
