RISK OF INJURY!
►
Note that when using the blade guard when
working with concrete or masonry, there may
be increased exposure to dust and a risk of
kickback.
►
When using flange-mounted discs for a dual
purpose (combined grinding and cut-off
discs), use a blade guard suitable for abra-
sive cutting**.
** The blade guard for cutting must be ordered via the
service department.
♦
Open the clamping lever a.
♦
Place the blade guard u with the coding
lug s in the coding groove d.
♦
Turn the blade guard u to the required position
(working position). The closed side of the blade
guard u must always be toward the operator.
♦
Close the clamping lever a to clamp the blade
guard u into position. If necessary, the clamping
force of the lock can be changed by loosening
or tightening the fine adjustment screw p.
Make sure that the blade guard u sits firmly
on the neck of the spindle.
