Indications for Use
The Lexilens
®
eyewear filter light using electron-
ic lenses to improve the reading quality of peo-
ple with reading disabilities by detaching and
disentangling letters, words, lines.
When the Lexilens
eyewear is correctly adjust-
®
ed for the user, faster reading, better under-
standing of texts and less concentration effort
are obtained in most cases. Lexilens
lenses do NOT provide sunlight protection.
Lexilens
®
optical clip accessory can optionally be
mounted on Lexilens
eyeframe to provide eye
®
sight correction with prescription lenses.
Contraindications and adverse effects
Do not use if you are prone to epilepsy:

glasses can cause epileptic seizures

for photosensitive people. Lexilens
can cause
®
headaches and nausea. Do not use the Lexilens
eyewear without prior consultation if the user
has a known ocular pathology (strabismus, am-
blyopia, etc.). It is recommended to consult an
ophthalmologist if in doubt.
Important Safety Instructions

6. Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms
or when unused for long periods of time.

9. Refer all servicing to qualified personnel. Ser-
vicing is required when the apparatus has been
damaged in any way, such as power supply cord
or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or
objects have fallen into the apparatus, the appa-
ratus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does
not operate normally, or has been dropped.
10. Do not attempt to service the apparatus

Do not use the Lexilens

liquids, such as vases, on or near the product.
Keep the product away from fire and heat sourc-
