POWER SUPPLY
BATTERIES (24V) AND BATTERY RECHARGER (230V)
- The time needed for the first recharging is 12 hours.
- The time needed for the successive recharging is 1 or 2 hours.
- The continuous battery recharger red light indicates that batteries are being
charged.
NB1: The red light is on to indicate the contact between the battery and battery
recharger.
NB2: The green light is on to indicate the recharging cycle is over: during first
recharging, leave battery under recharge even if the greed LED is on before
the indicated time.
NB3: Once the recharging cycle is over (green light on), disconnect battery from
battery recharger. Do not leave battery inserted into battery recharger after
disconnecting the power cable: otherwise the battery may get exhausted.
Warning: Batteries contain nickel-cadmium (NiCad). DO NOT DISPOSE
NORMALLY. Use the special recycling bins.
Warning: Perform partial battery recharging may cause a reduction of battery life.
BATTERY ENDURANCE
The Coupling tool BSB 32 battery endurance changes according to the pipe
diameter. Inspections and tests performed in continuously on totally-charged
batteries have given the following values:
Pipe Diameter
Endurance: Number of
Couplings
NB: At very low temperatures (below 5°C), battery endurance may be exceedingly
lower than the one declared.
NETWORK POWER SUPPLY
The Coupling tool BSB 32 can also be used with (230V) electrical network connection
by replacing the battery with an electrical transformer having size and dimensions
like the battery ones (item# 50437 optional).
