If the device has been exposed to drastic temperature fluctuation (e.g. after transportation), do not switch it on immediately.
The arising condensation water might damage your device. Leave the device switched off until it has reached room
temperature.
On the label on the backside of the product is indicated on this type of power supply must be connected. Check that the
mains voltage corresponds to this, all other voltages than specified, the device can be irreparably damaged. The product must
also be directly connected to the mains and may be used. No dimmer or adjustable power supply.
Always connect the device to a protected circuit (circuit breaker or fuse). Make sure the device has an appropriate
electrical ground to avoid the risk of electrocution or fire.

• Remove the radio from the package box.
• Plug in the power adapter or insert the correct batteries and press [Power].
Caution: Use only the adaptor supplied with the radio. Connecting a power supply with a different rating can cause
permanent damage to the radio and may be hazardous.
When powering the radio by batteries, make sure to disconnect the power adapter from the mains. Close the battery
compartment correctly before use. Check the batteries regularly. Remove the batteries from the compartment when not in
use to avoid possible leakage.
If there is Digital Audio Broadcasting (DAB) in your area, the Radio can pick up the DAB stations as well (no internet
connection is required). The radio supports both DAB and DAB+.
Place the radio close to the window and extend the antenna as far as it can go to get the best reception. Sometimes you may
need to adjust the direction of the antenna to improve reception.
