Replacing the trimmer disc
⇒ Switch off the unit and wait until the trimmer disc stops.

⇒ Disconnect the power plug�
⇒ Open the door locks�
⇒ Remove the trimmer door and place it to one side�
⇒ Remove the Allen key (22) from the holder�
⇒ Remove the protective cap (15)�
⇒ If necessary, remove the Klettfix disc.
⇒ Loosen the fastening screw (16) and remove the trimmer disc�
⇒ If necessary, clean the flange.
⇒ Place a new trimmer disc in the lock pin (17)�
⇒ Tighten the fastening screw again securely with an Allen key�
⇒ Place the protective cap on the fastening screw�
⇒ Place the Allen key back in the holder�
⇒ Attach the trimmer door and close the door locks�
⇒ Connect the power plug�
Tighten the fastening screw (16) again after a few minutes of
operation to prevent possible settling.

Cleaning / Maintenance
The unit does not contain any internal parts that require maintenance.
Opening the unit is not permitted other than as described below!
To ensure correct function, the trimmer must be cleaned and checked for damage at regular intervals
(at least weekly)�
Defective equipment must be taken out of service immediately and returned for repair!
Never clean the unit under running water or immerse in water.
Switch off the unit and disconnect the power plug before cleaning or servicing.
Do not clean using sharp objects or abrasive or solvent-based cleaning agents!
Only use soft brushes or cleaning wipes!

Cleaning the housing
Do not steam clean the housing!
• Only wipe the housing with a damp cloth�

Cleaning inside
• Switch off the unit and wait until the trimmer disc stops.
• Open the door locks (Fig� 9) and remove the trimmer door�
• Clean the trimmer door under running water with a brush or cloth�
• Wipe out the inside of the trimmer with a brush and/or cloth�

Cleaning the model table
• Switch off the unit and wait until the trimmer disc stops.
• Pull the model table upwards from the ball head at the front edge�
• Clean the model table using a brush as appropriate under running water�
