Labelling a CD
(CD changer w ith custom file function)
You can label each disc with a personalised
label. Use the wireless remote to enter and
erase the characters.

Press (DSPL/-EDIT) for tw o seconds until
the first character flashes.

Input the characters.

Press NAME
characters. If you press NAME
characters will appear in reverse order.
If you wish to put a blank space after a
character, select "_" (under-bar).
An alternative method to erase a title
You can erase a t it le by select ing eight " _" s
(under-bar).
2 Press (ENTER/-DELETE) after locating
the desired character.
The next character flashes.
3 Repeat steps 1 and 2 to enter the
entire title. Up to eight characters can
be entered per disc.

To return to the normal CD playback
mode, press (DSPL/-EDIT) for tw o
seconds.

Press (DSPL-SCRL) during CD playback.
Each time you press (DSPL-SCRL) during CD
playback, the display changes as follows:

Notes
• If a disc has not been assigned a personalised
label, " ********" or " NO NAM E" w ill appear on
t he display.
• The CD TEXT inf ormat ion appears only w hen a
CD TEXT disc is played back.
• If you use personalised labels, t hey w ill alw ays
t ake priorit y over t he original CD TEXT
inf ormat ion w hen such inf ormat ion is displayed.
• " **WAIT**" appears in t he display w hile t he
syst em is reading t he dat a.
• The syst em show s t he CD TEXT inf ormat ion w it h
alphabet ic charact ers, numbers, and symbols.
(The low ercase charact ers cont ained in t he CD
TEXT disc are aut omat ically convert ed t o
uppercase.)
Erasing t he disc m em o

Play the CD and press (DSPL/-EDIT) for
tw o seconds.

Press (ENTER/-DELETE) for tw o seconds
until DISC NAM E indication flashes.

Press NAM E
or
that you w ish to erase.

Press (ENTER/-DELETE) to make DISC
NAM E indication and the disc name
flash.

Press (ENTER/-DELETE) again.
The title is erased.
Repeat steps 2 through 4 if necessary.

Press (DSPL/-EDIT) for tw o seconds.
The unit returns to the normal CD playback
mode.
