INSTRUCTIONS ON ASSEMBLY AND USE
EN
a) Spread out the jumping mat (1) with the printed side facing upwards in
the frame. Attach two springs to a pair of the twelve grey-coloured mat
eye straps.
b) On the frame tube, select two punched holes in the frame that are directly
next to a leg socket. Attach the first two springs (6) to the frame there.
c) Attach the other pairs of springs to the frame and to the remaining grey
mat eye straps of the jumping mat. Proceed in a criss-cross pattern.
d) Use the special spring vice (7) to attach the spring to the jumping mat
and hook the spring into the frame if you need more tension than with the
first springs. Hook in the spring until it snaps into place and press it down
further if the hook is not fully seated in the hole.
e) Attach another spring in the middle of each quadrant of the frame. Now
you can attach the remaining springs in any order. If you notice that you
have skipped a hole and an eyelet, remove and reattach the springs so
that the holes on the frame match the eyelets again.
STEP F – G: ASSEMBLING THE FRAME PADDING
Place the frame padding (2) on the trampoline so that the springs and the
steel frame are covered. Make sure that the frame padding covers the whole
frame, the bars and the springs. Attach the edge cover to the jumping mat
(1) using the zip fastener. Mount the elastic straps with hooks to the eyelets
of the edge cover. Tie the elastic straps of the edge cover to the appropriate
mat eyelets.
STEP H: ASSEMBLING THE BOTTOM NET POLES
Make sure to insert the longer screw (14) through the upper hole and the
shorter screw (13) through the lower hole. Only tighten the screw connec-
tions hand-tight. Make sure that the foam tube sits above the trampoline
frame.
STEP I: FASTENING THE NET
Place the safety net on the jumping mat before following the assembly
steps. This is important for step J. Attach the safety net (12) by inserting
the top ring rods (10) into the adapters (11) so that their holes overlap and
you can tighten the adapter screw. Note that the adapter should be outside
the safety net. Finally, insert the top net post (8) into the adapter from below
until the spring bolt audibly clicks into place.
STEP J – K: ASSEMBLING THE NET POLES
Align the entrance so that it is between two feet (5). Align the net seam with
a pole. Attach the upper and lower net rods (8 + 9) together. Make sure that
the safety bolt clicks into place. Bring the pads of the net poles together.
Align them with the upper end of the net poles! Fasten the elastic straps of
the frame padding (see step G) by passing them around the outside of the
frame and through a spring eyelet on the net and finally hooking them into
the loops at the lower end of the net.
STEP L – M: FASTENING THE GROUND SAFETY NET
The ground safety net (24) is used to keep the area under the jumping mat
free of obstacles. It especially keeps pets and small children from getting
under the mat. Please note that children could also see this area under the
mat as a hiding place. For this reason, it is important to check the area under
the mat before using the trampoline to ensure that the area is clear. Align the
ground safety net so that the sewn-on pockets and the holes for the ladder
are directly at the entrance of the net. Attach the ground safety net gradually
around the frame to the safety net (12) using the zips. Attach the loops and
straps to the frame and the feet. Close the zip on the leg to the right of the
entrance.
STEP N: ASSEMBLING THE LADDER
The nuts for the screw connection are already inserted in the ladder steps.
Make sure not to overtighten the screws (21)!
STEP O – Q: FASTENING THE LADDER,
PEGS, FOOT MAT AND GROUND ANCHORS
When setting up the ladder, make sure that it goes through the openings
provided in the ground safety net. The two flattened ends of the ladder must
be hooked over the frame tube. The ladder rail must rest on the ground over
its entire width at the bottom end. The ladder must not wobble when in use.
Secure the sections of the ground safety net between two feet with two pegs
each (25). The floor mat is attached to the bottom of the ladder using the
hook and loop fastener. To preserve your lawn, hang the foot mat on the
top rung of the ladder when the trampoline is not in use. Ground anchors
reduce the risk of wind blowing the trampoline away. However, they will not
completely eliminate this risk. Depending on the condition of the soil and
temporary weather conditions, ground anchors may not provide sufficient
anchoring even at medium wind speeds. If in doubt, consult experts in re-
gional gardening and landscaping. The ground anchors (22) should be in-
serted into the ground in the middle of the trampoline base about 5 to 10 cm
outside the base of the trampoline until only the eyelet protrudes from the
ground. Then fasten the longer end of the tensioning strap (23) around the
foot and frame and secure the end of the strap twice as shown. After that,
lash the short part of the tensioning strap through the ground anchor eyelet.
Important note! Tighten the nuts firmly as a last step.
MOVING THE TRAMPOLINE
In order to move the trampoline you should have as many helpers as the
trampoline has feet. Prior to lifting, all used fasteners (stakes, etc.) should
be removed. Caution! Due to the spring tension there is a possible risk that
the frame can be twisted into a figure „8" as a result of uneven lifting! You
and your helpers should therefore be respectively positioned between two
feet of the trampoline and you should then all lift the trampoline at the same
time. Lift the trampoline off the ground slightly and keep it horizontal with
the floor. To move the trampoline in a different way, disassemble it com-
pletely. To disassemble, follow instructions for assembly backwards.
MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
Use a dry or damp cloth only to clean the product; do not use special
cleaning agents! Check the product for damage or traces of wear and tear
before and after each use. Do not make any structural changes. For your
own safety, please use original spare parts only. These can be sourced from
HUDORA. If parts become damaged or if sharp edges or corners should
develop, the product may not be used any more. If in any doubt, please
contact our service team (http://www.hudora.de/). Store the product in a
safe place where it is protected from the elements, cannot be damaged, and
cannot injure anyone.
• Check that jumping mat, frame padding and safety net are without defects
and can withstand load. Sunlight, rain, snow and extreme temperatures
will make these parts loose strength. Replace jumping mat, frame padding
and safety net after 36 month use.
• Check the product regularly – especially before and after use! – for
damage and wear marks. Not servicing the product regularly can lead to
dangerous consequences for the user.
• Verify prior to each use that the trampoline mat is not worn and parts are
not loose or missing. In particular, check all spring and bolt connections
and tighten them if necessary, so that they do not loosen during use.
• The trampoline can be blown over, when exposed to strong winds. In the
event that you expect windy weather, the trampoline must be transferred to a
protected area and where expedient also disassembled. Another possibility
is to ensure that the frame of the trampoline is securely lashed with the
help of ropes and stakes. In order to ensure safety, the trampoline has to
be pegged to the ground over at least three points. Ensure that the frame of
the trampoline is not exclusively only securely lashed over a foot part of the
trampoline, as this may lead to a tearing apart of the frame connections.
• Keep the trampoline safe from impermissible access when not in use. For
trampoline with ladders, the supervisor must remove the ladder when
leaving the place so that unsupervised children under 6 years do not get
on the trampoline.
• Make sure that the padding for the trampoline frame is attached securely
and is at the right place.
• In order to keep the risk of an injury to the minimum, always check the
trampoline for worn, defective or missing parts before use.
• Always inspect the safety net to find out if it is worn out or damaged
before the trampoline is used. Make sure that the safety net is properly
attached, its straps are securely fastened and the safety net itself is not
damaged.
• Do not make any technical modifications. The trampoline and its safety net
should be dismantled or secured against use until necessary corrections
have been made, if a fault or an abnormality which is potentially dangerous
to the user has been detected.
• Do not use the trampoline if it is damaged or unsafe!
• After moving the trampoline, check each point of the "Special Safety Instruc-
tions" and "Safety Instructions" once again.
