SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1.
Read the instructions carefully
Do not use the tool under rain. Do not expose the
tool to rain or water
Always disconnect the battery before doing any
maintenance or adjustment tasks on the tool, or
when transporting or storing the tool.
POWER TOOL WARNINGS
Carefully
read
instructions and specifications.
If the warnings and safety instructions are not followed it
may result in injuries, explosions or electric shocks.
Keep this manual in a safe place for future reference.
The "Power tool" term used in the following warnings
refers to tools powered by a battery.
SAFETY ON THE WORKPLACE
- Keep the working area clean, illuminated and aired.
Dark and messy areas may cause accidents.
- Do not use power tools in explosion hazardous
areas, were liquid, gaseous or dust fuels can be
found. Power tools produce sparks that can light up
gaseous or dust materials.
- Keep children and other people away from the
working area while using a power tool. A distraction
can make you loose control over the tool.
PEOPLE SAFETY
- Be aware of what you are doing and apply common
sense while using a power tool. Do not use the power
tool if you are tired or after having consumed drugs
or alcohol or medicines. Loosing focus while using a
power tool can cause you serious injuries.
- Use personal protection equippment. Always use eye
protection. Injury risks are gratly reduced if you use
a dust protection mask, safety work shoes with anti
sliding soles, helmet and ear protection.
- Avoid unintendedly switching on the tool. make sure
the tool is unplugged before storing or transporting it.
if you carry the tool pressing the trigger or the battery
is still connected, the tool might cause an accident.
- Remove any accessory tool or service key before
plugging in the tool. Any tool or service key attached
to a rotary piece can get stuck and cause injuries if
the tool is triggered.
- Avoid risky or unnatural stances. Work on a firm
basis keeping a good balance at all times. This will
allow a better control if any unforeseen situation
comes up.
- Use adecuated working clothes. Do not use loose
clothing or jewlery. Keep your hair and clothes
away from any moving component. Loose clothing,
long hair and jewlery can get stuck in moving
components.
- Do not allow yourself to be over confident due to
experience and continued use of the tool. Always
follow the safety rules as a negligent action can
cause serious accidents anytime.

BATTERIES USE AND CARE
Do not open the battery. Danger of short-circuiting.
Protect the battery against heat, e. g., against continuous
intense sunlight, fire, water, and moisture. Danger of
explosion.
In case of damage and improper use of the battery,
vapours may be emitted. Provide for fresh air and seek
medical help in case of complaints. The vapours can
irritate the respiratory system.
Use the battery only in conjunction with your STAYER
power tool. This measure alone protects the battery
against dangerous overload.
Use only original STAYER batteries with the voltage
listed on the nameplate of your power tool. When using
other batteries, e. g. imitations, reconditioned batteries or
other brands, there is danger of injury as well as property
damage through exploding batteries.
Do not continue to press the On/Off switch after the
machine has been automatically switched off. The battery
can be damaged.
The battery is equipped with a temperature control
which allows charging only within a temperature range
of between 0 °C and 45 °C. A long battery service life is
achieved in this manner.
Observe the notes for disposal.
Use only the battery chargers listed on the accessories
page. Only these battery chargers are matched to the
lithium ion battery of your power tool.
The battery is supplied partially charged. To ensure full
capacity of the battery, completely charge the battery in
the battery charger before using your power tool for the
first time.
The lithium-ion battery can be charged at any time
without reducing its service life. Interrupting the charging
procedure does not damage the battery.
The lithium-ion battery is protected against deep
discharging. When the battery is empty, the machine is
switched off by means of a protective circuit: The inserted
tool no longer rotates.
Temperature Dependent Overload Protection
When using as intended for, the power tool cannot be
subject to overload. When the load is too high or the
allowable battery temperature range of 0–50 °C is
exceeded, the speed is reduced. The power tool will
not run at full speed until reaching the allowable battery
temperature. position. Unintentional actuation of the On/
Off switch can lead to injuries.
Open the keyless chuck 2 by turning in rotation direction ,
until the tool can be inserted. Insert the tool. Firmly tighten
the collar of the keyless chuck 2 by hand in rotation
direction . This automatically locks the drill chuck.
The locking is released again to remove the tool when the
collar is turned in the opposite direction.
USE AND CARE OF POWER TOOLS
- Do not overload the tool. Use the tool only for its
designed purposes. With the adecuate tool you will
be able to work better and safer under the power
input limits.
- Do not use the tool if the trigger or battery are
damaged. Power tools tha cannot be conected or
disconected are dangerous and must be repaired.
