6. LEGAL NOTICE
We recommend that you have your equipment installed by a professional. Failure to comply with the
instructions below may result in material damage and/or adversely affect the functioning of the device. It
may also endanger people's safety. AMS cannot be held liable for failure to comply with these instructions.
Video kits are video systems designed to facilitate or monitor movements of equipment or machine tools.
AMS DIFFUSION cannot be held liable for any use other than that mentioned above. The manufacturer
does not accept any liability for damage caused by:
> Incorrect mounting or connection faults.
> Mechanical forces and surges that result in damage to the equipment.
> Modifications made to the device without the manufacturer's explicit authorisation.
> Any use that differs from that set out in this manual.
> Use while driving
Please adhere to the conditions of use relating to screens:
Failure to follow the instructions for the installation and use of a screen in a vehicle constitutes a violation
(according to the legislation in force in the country of use) and this could entail the payment of a fine with
the associated legal costs.
The screen must be attached to the vehicle directly or held in place by a fixed mount. Driving requires
your full attention and concentration. Using a device equipped with a screen while driving can be a major
source of distraction, even if it is a driving aid. If the driver can view the information displayed on the
screen from the driving position, use of the device is permitted if the driver follows the instructions for the
installation and use of the screen. If you need to programme or enter information, do this BEFORE you
start driving.
Comply with the following instructions when working on the electrical components:
> When checking the voltage of electric cables, only use an LED test lamp or a voltmeter. Test lamps with a
light element can damage the vehicle's electronic systems and trigger the airbag.
> Do not use terminal blocks when making connections.
An inadequate electrical connection could lead to a short circuit, resulting in:
> Combustion of the cables
> The airbag being triggered
> Damage to the electronic systems of the control unit
> Failure of the electrical functions (indicators, brake lights, horn, ignition, headlights).
Dispose of packaging via the appropriate recycling streams.
When your device reaches the end of its life, contact your local recycling centre or your specialist reseller
for the relevant waste reprocessing requirements.
