SERVICING OF DOUBLE-INSULATED APPLIANCES
In a double-insulated appliance, two systems of insulation
are provided instead of grounding. No grounding means is
provided on a double-insulated appliance, nor should a means
for grounding be added to the appliance. Servicing a double-
insulated appliance requires extreme care and knowledge
of the system, and should be done only by qualified service
personnel. Replacement parts for a double-insulated appliance
must be identical to the parts they replace.
OPERATING
INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance is intended for professional or household
use. Use on Alternating Current (50–60 Hz) only. Standard
appliances are designed to operate at rated voltage.
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the
other).As a safety feature, this plug will fit into a polarized outlet
only one way. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse
the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do
not attempt to defeat this safety feature.
DUAL VOLTAGE
This curling wand has dual voltage. It will automatically adjust
to the proper voltage. Use an adapter plug (not included) with
correct configuration prior to use in outlet.
