GROUND FAULT CIRCUIT INTERRUPTER
PROTECTION
This pressure washer has a ground-fault circuit-interrupter
(GFCI) built into the plug of thepower-supply cord. A GFCI
provides additional protection from the risk of electric
shock. If replacement of the plug or cord is necessary, use
identical replacement parts that include GFCI protection.
UNDERSTANDING THE GROUNDING PLUG
Do not modify the plug. This appliance has a ground-
ing-type plug which has two blades and a grounding
prong. The grounding prong is provided for your safety.
The plug is designed to fit into a matching outlet. If the
plug does not fit your outlet, consult a qualified electrician
for replacement of the obsolete outlet. Do not under any
circumstances cut or remove the prong.

GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS
This product must be grounded. If it should malfunction or
breakdown, grounding provides a path of least resistance
for electric current to reduce the risk of electric shock.
This product is equipped with a cord having an equip-
ment-grounding conductor and a grounding plug. The plug
must be plugged into an appropriate outlet that is properly
installed and grounded in accordance with all local codes
and ordinances.
DANGER – Improper connection of the equipment-
grounding conductor can result in a risk of electrocution.
Check with a qualified electrician or service personnel if
you are in doubt as to whether the outlet is properly ground-
ed. Do not modify the plug provided with the product – if
it will not fit the outlet, have a proper outlet installed by a
qualified electrician. Do not use any type of adaptor with
this product.
