The twin head stethoscopes consist of diaphragm and bell side which can be selected
according to frequency.With one hand you fi x the breast piece and with the other hand
the tubing attachment.
Rotate the head of the stethoscope by 180° until it engages.
If the sound inlet on the bell side is closed, the diaphragm side or small membrane is
active. The other way around, the auscultation with bell side is possible.
Diff erent stethoscope versions:
LuxaScope Sonus: stethoscope made from stainless steel, reversible for high and low
frequency sounds, available in diff erent colours and 2 sizes (Adult/Pediatric, Pediatric/
Neonatal).
LuxaScope Sonus Flex Stethoscopes: stethoscope, reversible for high and low frequen-
cy sounds, available in diff erent colours and 1 size (Adult), exchangeable reusable dia-
phragm and diaphragm ring by simple clic on or pull off .
Cleaning:
The stethoscope must be cleaned with a damp cloth (use ph-neutral or slightly alkaline
cleaning materials) after each use.
Disinfection:
Disinfection or disinfecting cleaning of the outer surfaces of the stethoscope simply by
wipe disinfection. Use disinfectants, approved for use on medical devices made of plas-
tic or rubber. Spray- and immersion-type disinfection is not approved. Disinfection of Lu-
xaScope Sonus Flex stethoscopes is not absolutely necessary. The reusable diaphragm
or reusable diaphragm ring have to be disinfected like mentioned above or exchanged
after application.
Sterilisation:
Not approved for sterilisation.
Disposal:
This product and its accessories can be disposed of alongby with household waste.
