Line up the groove in the grip end of handle
(B) with the tab in handle center (C).
IMPORTANT: See Step 1 Image. Swiftly

push the two pieces together as far as pos-
sible. Tap the grip end of handle (B) on the
floor until the connection is secure. The end
of handle center (C) should be flush with the
shoulder on handle (B).
To avoid damage to your floor or the
product, place a piece of scrap wood
(not provided) on the floor before
TIP tapping the handle. You may also
secure the handle connection by tap-
ping the grip end with a rubber mallet.

Line up the groove in the head end of handle
(D) with the tab in handle center (C). Swiftly
push the two pieces together as far as pos-
sible. Tap the wood end of handle (D) on the
floor until the connection is secure. The end
of handle center (C) should be flush with the
shoulder on handle (D).
To avoid damage to your floor or the
product, place a piece of scrap wood
(not provided) on the floor before tap-

ping the handle. You may also secure
the handle connection by tapping
the wood end with a rubber mallet.
3 Unscrew the screw from the back of the rake
head. Insert assembled handle (B/C/D) into
head (A). Lightly tap handle end on the floor
to ensure handle is fully inserted in head.
4 Lay the rake on a flat surface. Use a
Phillips-head screwdriver to fully insert the
screw in to the rake head.
