• Be sure to fix the unit's legs ith bolts hen installing it.
• Be sure to install the unit firmly to ensure that it does not fall by an earthqua e or a gust.
• Refer to the figure in the right for concrete foundation.
• In case of MXZ-2C20NAHZ3, MXZ-3C24/30NAHZ3, do not use the drain socket and the drain caps.
• In case of MXZ-5C42NA3, do not use the drain socket and the drain caps in the cold region. Drain may freeze and it makes the fan stop.

After the leak test, apply insulat-
ing material tightly so that there
is no gap.
When the piping is to be attached to
a w all containing metals (tin plated)
or metal netting, use a chemically
treated w ooden piece 25/32 in. (20
mm) or thicker betw een the w all
and the piping or w rap 7 to 8 turns
of insulation vinyl tape around
the piping.
To use existing piping, perform
COOL operation for 30 minutes
and pump do n before removing
the old air conditioner. Rema e flare
according to the dimension for new
refrigerant.
Units should be installed by licensed contractor according to
local code requirements.
