APPLICABLE NORMATIVE DOCUMENTS AND TECHNICAL DEFINITION
EN 62208 - Empty enclosures for low-voltage switchgear and controlgear assemblies - General Requirements.
Class II standardised enclosure for low tension electrical equipment, and for places with no special risks.
GUARANTEE OF NORMATIVE FULFILLMENT
EC Declaration of Conformity available at
In the plate of characteristics of the product you will find: the mark, model, designation, lot, protection degrees (IP and IK) and the
applicable normative documents (DNA). In the catalogue you will find: technical, dimensional and material characteristics.
STORAGE AND TRANSPORT
Conditions during transport and storage: between 55ºC and –25ºC.
Check the product in case of fall. The inadequate handling can originate the reduction of the characteristics of safety.
INSTALLATION AND LOCALIZATION
For places with maximum air temperature of 40ºC and minimum of –5ºC, maximum humidity 50% at 40ºC.
Class II enclosures for meter and protection must be applied outside, the others enclosures may be installed preferably inside the
house. For flush mounted or surface mounted installation.
Enclosures may be installed in non-combustible walls. The enclosure may not be installed in places with excessive humidity, presence
of corrosive substances, dusts, electromagnetic interferences, abnormal technical stresses and atmospheres with explosions, fires,
vibrations or shocks risks.
Keep the frame, door and remaining components until concluding the wall.
Break the pre-moulded knock-outs and place the cable glands before the installation. For grouping enclosures use a connection set
(plastic bolts - REF 00225 or screws – REF 00226).
Use the protection hood in screws in order to fix the enclosures on the wall or in order to assemble enclosures (insulation degree 1)
(REF 002512 ou 002514).
Use a protection board (ex. carton packaging) for the installation of the base box of the enclosure on the wall, to guarantee the
dimensional stability and prevent dirt from entering inside the enclosure.
ELECTRICAL CARACTERISTICS
Insulation voltage 300V ≤ Ui ≤ 690V
HANDLING, ASSEMBLY AND SERVICE CONDITIONS
It could only be handled and mounted by responsible technicians, use standardized equipments and respect the Regulation and
Security rules.
The maximum load permitted inside the enclosure is 200 Kg for m3.
The fulfilment of Security requirements has to be guaranteed by using standardized devices, with the fulfilment of the specifications
established in applicable normative documents and by the proper assembly of the product.
Use adequate masks to protect the open spaces without equipment.
NOTE: With distribution boards with D90mm and H500mm, do not use the extra central module cover, next to the lock.
The frame-door has to be attached to the wall only after the last wall painting in order to guarantee the colour and the cleaning of the
product.
The last operator is responsible for the assembly, functioning and maintenance of the product.
ISOLATED BUSBAR SPECIFICATIONS
80A - 400 V
Use the metallic fixture to install the isolated neutral and ground busbars, supplied with the product.
During installation of the enclosure, you can remove the metallic fixture (fig. 1), use an Allen wrench (Allen key 2,5mm) to loosen the
screw.
Note: Keep the screws attached to metal fixture to help the assembly process.
To reattach the fixture to the electrical box, keep the screws attached on the fixture and insert it in the box (fig.1).
