4.2.
Assembly – example of a tool cabinet with worktop
The following assembly shows for instance a tool cabinet with a GARANT
worktop and a GARANT support leg.
4.2.1
Preparation for erection
Secure the erection location for the workbench.
Make sure that the fl oor on which the workbench will be erected is level,
clean and dry.
If necessary for protection
of the worktop working
surface, place an underlay
(a) on the fl oor.
Place the worktop on the
fl oor with the working
surface facing downwards
so that the "Front" sticker
(b) is visible and at the
front.
4.2.2
Mount the support leg to the worktop
If the erection position is non-standard:
Where necessary, mark out the non-standard holes.
Drill the holes.
Place the support leg(s)
precisely over the pre-
drilled holes and screw
them on.
For fi tting the rear panel
and/or storage shelf:
Screw the support legs
on, but do not fully
tighten them.
If necessary, fi t the further
support leg in the same
way.
