Sensor Control
This iron is equipped with a position/motion sensor. This means
that if the iron is left motionless it will turn off automatically and
cool to room temperature. To restart iron, tilt downwards and
then back onto heel position and allow it to reheat.
Position Sensing
The iron will turn off automatically when left in the following
positions. The auto off time varies based on the iron's position.
Resting on Soleplate = 30 seconds
Resting on Heel = 15 minutes
Power ON Light and
Auto Shutoff Light
This light comes on when the iron is
plugged in and remains on until the iron
is unplugged. The light stays on even if
Temperature Control Dial is turned to Off.
Spray and Steam Buttons
Push Steam Button for an extra blast of
steam. To avoid water spitting from the
iron, do not push the Steam Button more
frequently than every 5 seconds. Push
Spray Button to release a fine spray
of water for difficult wrinkles in cotton
or linen.

Caring and Cleaning
Iron
1. Turn Temperature Control Dial to Off ( O ). Unplug and let
cool. The iron takes longer to cool down than it does to
heat up.
2. To empty water from iron, slowly tilt pointed end of iron
down over a sink. Water will run out of water tank opening.
3. Wrap cord loosely around iron and store iron in an upright
position. Do not store iron laying flat on soleplate.
Soleplate
1. Never iron over zippers, pins, metal rivets, or snaps, as
these may scratch the soleplate.
2. To clean occasional buildup on the soleplate, wipe with
a sudsy cloth. Do not use abrasive cleansers or metal
scouring pads.
3. Always store iron upright in the heel rest position.
