INSTALLATION AND COMMISSIONING
Before doing this, follow the steps below: Connect the air hose to the device before swit-
ching it on. The air stones should be immersed about 30 cm below the surface of the
water. Keep the length of the air hoses as short as possible. Lay the connection cable in
a protected manner and connect the device to a socket. After a short start-up time, air
emerges from the air stones.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
First switch off the power supply and secure the device against being switched on again.
If the performance decreases, clean the air inlet opening on the housing cover.
The membranes need to be replaced occasionally. Always change them in pairs on the left
and right.

CHANGING THE DIAPHRAGM ON THE AIR ACTIVE 6.000:
First pull out the mains plug and secure the device against being switched on again. You
can remove the cover by opening the screws on the underside of the device.
Pull the connecting hose off the pump heads on the left and right. Remove the diaphragm
chamber secured with four screws. Carefully lift the cover of the membrane chamber
off the membrane. Loosen the screw and remove the support washer from the mem-
brane. The membrane can then be replaced. Pay attention to correct installation (note
shape). Reassemble the device in reverse order and put it back into operation.

WEAR PARTS
The membranes are wearing parts and must therefore be replaced occasionally.
Always change them in pairs on the left and right (with the AIR ACTIVE SET 500, only
one membrane needs to be changed).
The membranes, air hoses, valve unit and air filter are wearing parts and are not
subject to warranty.
