CAUTION
Before to connect the battery, please verify the voltage of it.
Maker sure about power output from the electrical network.
Do not use this charger in humid or wet environments.
Never leave the clamps disconnected, if you still don't unplug the
charger from the outlet.
To charge a battery, follow these steps:
1.- Verify the voltage from the battery (6 or 12V) (12V it's only
available for BR-500).
2.- Select the voltage in the charger, using the voltage switch
(located in the rear).
3.- Use the ends or the clamps to plug the charger to the battery
(pay attention to polarity).
4.- Plug the charger to electrical network.
5.- Keep the battery connected to the electrical current from 6 to
20 hours (depending of the battery), in order to obtain an optimal
charge. (Please, refers to the table for more information).
Both models charges every type of lead acid rechargeable
batteries. The part number BR-CHG charges only 6V
batteries and the part number BR-500 charges 6V and 12V
batteries.
Part number BR-500 includes an charging indicator-LED,
when the battery is charging, the LED lights green, when the
battery is fully-charged lights green.
