23. Regarding the instructions for
cleaning surfaces coming into
contact with food, please refer
to chapter "After use".

Electrical safety
1. Warning! Unplug the
appliance when leaving it
unattended, when taking a
break and after operation.
2. Ensure the rated voltage
shown on the rating label
corresponds with the voltage
of the power supply.
3. Do not operate any appliance
with a damaged power
cord or plug, when the
appliance malfunctions or has
been damaged in any manner.
4. Protect the power cord against
damages. Do not let it hang
over sharp edges, do not
squeeze or bend it. Keep
the power cord away from
hot surfaces and ensure that
nobody can trip over it.
5. Do not open the housing
under any circumstances. Do
not insert fingers or foreign
objects in any opening of the
appliance and do not obstruct
the air vents.
6. Protect the appliance against
heat. Do not place close to
heat sources such as stoves
or heating appliances.

Operation
First use
1.
Operate the appliance opened for about 10
minutes without foodstuff. Fumes caused by
conditions of manufacturing are released. This
is normal and no reason to worry.
2.
Clean the grilling plates as described in this
manual.

NOTES:
•
Lightly grease the grilling plates with cooking oil
to prevent foodstuffs from sticking and burning.
•
After a temperature is selected, the heating
function is switched on and off automatically in
order to maintain the set temperature.
•
Always turn the temperature knob back to the
off position / before unplugging.
