To Start The String Trimmer (Fig . 13)
1. Press the lock-off button to the right/left
side and hold it in that position. Press the
trigger switch to turn on the string trimmer.
Release the lock-off button and continue
to squeeze the trigger switch for continued
operation.
2. The rotational speed of the trimmer head
is controlled with the variable-speed trigger
switch. More pressure on the trigger results
in higher speed; less pressure on the
trigger results in lower speed. Adjust the
speed to suit the task at hand.
NOTE: The motor starts only when the lock-off
button and trigger switch are both pressed.
To Stop The String Trimmer
Release the trigger switch.
WARNING
Changing Speed Range (Fig . 14)
The string trimmer has two speed ranges. Press
the high/low speed switch to change cutting
speed between the low (setting 1) and high
(setting 2).
The low speed range provides better control
of the trimmer and longer operating time per
charge.
Always remove the battery pack from the string trimmer during work
breaks and after finishing work.
