Maintenance
IMPORTANT: Unit may be stored in any position. If the
"ON/OFF" switch is left in the "ON" position, the clamps
are subject to sparking when they come in contact with
each other. This will create a short and damage to the
battery. When not using the unit, turn power switch to
"OFF".
NOTE: The 12-volt DC Outlet is always "live". The ON/OFF
switch only turns off the electrical current from the internal
battery to the clamps. Keep this unit away from children.
NOTE: We do not recommend recharging this unit using
your vehicle's cigarette-lighter outlet. It will not damage
the battery; however, it will take a long time while driving.
When jump-starting, do not use this jump starter for more
than 6 seconds without a 3-minute rest period between use.
IMPORTANT: Recharge unit every 3 months (monthly in
the summer) to FULL CHARGE, if it has not been used.
Always recharge unit after use.
