Operating Instructions
Thermobox-heater types:

Please read the following information carefully before putting the heating system into operational use.
Important!
The heating system may only be used for keeping the contents of
switched off if the thermobox is empty (no meal trays and/or no filled catering containers). Do not place on soft, flexible surfaces.
The warranty will expire if used in any other way as described and liability claims against the manufacturer will become void.
The heating system must be connected according to the type as shown in the following: 220 volt - 240 volt alternation current or
12 volt - 14,2 volt direct current.

Attention! Do not put objects with a temperature higher than 120°C onto the heating element!
The whole surface area of the heating element is heated. Do not cover any part of the heating element with any materials what so
ever, e.g. rubber foam, cloths or similar.
It is not permitted to put the heating system into operation use if the heating element surface is damaged.
The connecting lead (power line) of the device cannot be renewed. It is not permitted to put the device into operational use if the
lead is damaged.
Do not clean the device under running water and/or in a dish-washer. For cleaning please use a damp cloth and solvent-free
cleanser.
Installation and operational use of the heating system
Open the thermobox (illustration no. 2) and lay the heating element (illustration no. 1) flat on the bottom of the thermobox. It is not
necessary to pre-heat the box.
Guide the connection cable outwards, along the side the box. If the box does not close to 100%, make a small notch for the cable
either in the top edge of the box or in the thermobox lid. (see enlarged illustration no. 4).
Fill the thermobox (meal trays and/or catering containers) and close the lid. Plug the box into the appropriate power supply, either
the mains plug or cigarette lighter (220 volt - 240 volt, or for car 12 volt - 14,2 volt cigarette lighter socket or socket terminal
board). The temperature control of the heating system will occur fully automatic reaching a temperature of 75°c and does not
require any further supervision.
Warning
The surface of the heater is hot when the heating system is in operational use.
