The differential relay ensures protection against earth leakage currents,
thanks to a signal coming from a ring CT installed on the feeder to
protect, and gives the tripping order to the circuit breaker which feeds
it.

The sensitivity of protection "dEF" is settable on the GFR CS01

between 10 mA and 1A, and 100 mA and 15A on the GFR

To avoid trip due to transient, the operating time "t.dEF" can be
programmed between 0 and 5s on the GFR CS01, and between
0 and 10s on the GFR CS03.

Our GFD Soft software permits, from a standard PC, to manage
up to 255 differential relays connected on a RS485 local area

Visualization of the setting values:

Pushing on Set button, the relay enters in visualization mode. Pressing
on F, the display shows the different programmable functions, the relay
enters on each function by pressing on E and the corresponding value
is displayed.
Changing of the settings
To enter in programming mode it is necessary to push on + and - at the
same time during 2 seconds. The display requires the access PIN code

which is at the origin 001. Once validated, the F and E keys give access
to the settings and to modify them pushing on + and -.
The "dir" function permits to assign an address to the relay when it is

connected to a RS485 communication network.
The relay leaves the programming mode in 15 seconds without action
on the keys or pushing the Set button after validation of a function.
