1 Operating Instruction Aqua Spotlight Power LED
Ubbink Aqua Spotlight Power LED can be used as an underwater spotlight, as well as around the pond..
The delivery volume comprises the pond fl oodlight, 5m cable and a LED bulb.
Please read the operating instruction thoroughly before start-up of the pond fl oodlight.
Safety instructions
• The pond fl oodlight must be connected to a network with 230 VAC/50 Hz via a safety transformer according to the requirements of the harmonised EU-Directives, EU-Safety
standards and product-specifi c standards. Possibly ask your local utility regarding connection regulations.
• The safety transformer used must be connected to an outside safety socket with earth (IP X4) at a distance of at least 3.5 m from the pond.
• The connected bulb capacity must not exceed the rated capacity of the safety transformer! A too high load may damage the transformer beyond repair. Only a safety transformer
recommended for this should be used for correct operation of the pond fl oodlight.
• The pond fl oodlight is intended for underwater use. Pay attention that the fl oodlight is always fully submerged in the water to guarantee suffi cient cooling of the fl oodlight.
• Do not use the cable for carrying the pond fl oodlight and never pull at the cable.
• The electric cable cannot be replaced. If the cable is damaged, the pond fl oodlight must not be used any longer and must be correctly disposed.
• The power supply must always be disconnected during assembly and disassembly of the pond fl oodlight and during maintenance work.
• The device is not suitable for usage by persons (Including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, unless supervised by
a person responsible for their safety or they have been instructed in the usage of the device. Children must be supervised to ensure that they are not playing with the device.
Installation
The pond light can be set up in different ways:
On the accompanying stands

With the accompanying ground stake (WARNING, watch out for pond liner!)
2.
Replacing the bulb
1. Pull the plug of the safety transformer out of the socket.
2. Remove possibly existing residual water from the fl oodlight surface.
3. Screw off the fl oodlight ring.
4. Carefully remove the cover glass pane of the fl oodlight.
5. Replace the LED bulb (Do not touch with your fi ngers!).
6. Dry the glass pane and the fl oodlight ring thoroughly and refi t both items. Pay attention for correct position of the sealing ring!
Cleaning
Please observe the instructions for replacing the bulb. Use only water and a soft brush. Pay attention that no liquid gets into the fl oodlight.
Repair
No repair is possible, if fl oodlight housing, cable or transformer are damaged. You must no longer use the respective damaged part and dispose it.

Guarantee
We guarantee this product for 2 years against proven material and manufacturing faults from the date of purchase. The original purchase receipt must be presented as proof of
purchase in case of guarantee claims. The guarantee does not extend to complaints caused by assembly or operating errors, a lack of care, the eff ects of frost, improper repair attempts,
the use of force, outside culpability, overloads, mechanical damage or the eff ects of foreign bodies. The guarantee likewise excludes all complaints concerning parts damage and/or
problems caused by wear and tear.
Environmental Protection
Waste electrical products should not be disposed of with household waste. Please recycle where facilities exist.
