Preparation and operation of the device
POSITIONING OF THE UNIT
Keep the controller away from any hot surfaces and direct sunlight. Place the unit
in such a way that the main plug can be reached at any time. Ensure that the power
supply to the unit corresponds to that specified on the identification plate! Although
the controller housing is water-resistant (IPX6), it does not mean that it is
waterproof. It should be placed so that contact with moisture is reduced to a
minimum, e.g. by mounting it in a closed box, out of the reach of animals,
unauthorized persons or children.
ASSEMBLY OF THE DEVICE
The operation of the device is based on the principle of current flow in a simple
electrical circuit, and the colors of the poles/wire insulation have been selected in
accordance with common standards: the black wire (H), i.e. negative, is connected
to the buried earth pin (D) and runs from it to device controller (A). On the other
hand, the red wire, i.e. the positive one (G), runs from the device controller (A) and
is connected to the fence wire. The controller (A), which provides constant power
to the fence, draws it from an external power source, which can be a 12V battery
(via a power cable - I) or a power supply (F) connected to a 230V power socket. The
kit includes a connection to each of these power sources.
ATTENTION: for safety reasons, the device may only be connected to the power
supply after the entire installation has been completed - never connect it before!
1) Attach the device controller to a solid vertical surface, such as a wall, etc.
Additionally, put it out of the reach of unauthorized persons or animals. Use the
holes on the back of the controller housing and the attached screws.
2) At the output of the earth pin, attach the ring terminal to the earth wire (H).
3) Connect the eyelet on the other end of the grounding wire (H) to the negative
(black) pole of the controller - unscrew its nut completely and screw the eyelet
with it.
4) Correct and effective operation of a live fence depends largely on proper
grounding, therefore the grounding pin should be driven into the ground to at
least 20 cm. Ideally, this substrate would be moist soil. For example, sand,
gravel or dry soil are not good conductors of electricity.
5) Unscrew the positive pole of the controller (red) and attach the eyelet of the
power connection cable (G) to the fence.
IMPORTANT: When planning a live fence, avoid uneven, rocky or steep areas of
the site as much as possible. The wire should be properly tensioned and the
fence posts should be stably buried in the ground. A fence consisting of several
live wires (3 or more) is considered to be the most effective for the intended
use. Additional fasteners/clamps are not included in the kit. Moreover, the
