For your safety - General safety guidelines
WARNING: when using electrical equipment, basic safety precautions must be respected in order to minimise
the risk of fire, electrical shocks and bodily injury.
• Do not install the lamp in areas that present a risk of explosion or near flammable liquids or gases (petrol,
oil, alcohol, gas, acid, etc.).
• Do not unplug the device if your hands are wet as this poses a risk of electrical shock.
• Keep out of the reach of children. Children must not play with this product. Do not leave this product with
unsupervised children.
• This device is not intended to be used by people with physical, sensory or mental impairments.
• Any unapproved use and/or technical modification may prove to be dangerous, both to your health and
safety. Any incorrect repairs may expose you to the risk of electrical currents
• Do not insert any objects into this product, do not disassemble.
• When the light source comes to the end of its working life, the entire lamp must be replaced.
• Do not use this device if damaged, shows any sign of damage or is not working correctly.
Warranty and after-sales care
Dhome provides a 2-year warranty from the day of purchase (on presentation of the receipt or invoice). This
includes free replacement of faulty parts or the device, the choice of which is left to Dhome's discretion. Either
way the legal warranty covers all consequences of faults or latent defects (articles 1641 and subsequent of the
French Civil Code).
Repairs shall only be undertaken by qualified technicians using original spare parts. Any breach of this instruction
may have particularly dangerous consequences for users.
Where appropriate, contact the after-sales department of the shop from which the product was purchased.
For the warranty to be valid, the following conditions must be fulfilled:
- There has been no attempt at repair, by the client or a third party.
- The device has been used and installed under normal conditions, in a suitable manner and following the
instructions for us.
Please note:
If repairs take place under warranty, this does not extend the initial term of the contractual warranty (start date
from the date of purchase), and after-sales care will perform the repair work required for a fee.
Liability
We specifically draw your attention to the fact that the company Qérys (address below) owner of the brand
Dhome, is not liable for damage caused by these devices, insofar as this damage is a result of non-compliant
repair work; or when using spare parts, in the event that original Dhome parts are not used, or if the repair is not
undertaken by the Dhome after-sales department.
Decommissioning
This device must not be disposed of in a domestic rubbish bin. It must only be put in a waste container
specially intended for this type of product.
Dispose of the device at a municipal collection point or at the point of sale. Dispose of packaging in
an environmentally safe way using recycling centres for its collection.
