Adjusting the coffee configuration
In the event that you wish to obtain more coffee, press the button for 2 more seconds and the coffee will
continue to flow out, while the button flashes. When the coffee volume has been reached (the maximum
volume is 200cc), release the button to stop the coffee from flowing out. The PCB will record the volume
of coffee in the memory. The unit will prepare the adjustment of the coffee volume every time the buttons
are pressed. To change the coffee volume adjustment, repeat the process. To return to the default volume,
unplug the machine and plug it in again.
The steam can be used for making froth. When the steam is produced, the pump will make a loud noise. This
noise is quite normal and does not mean that the coffee machine has a malfunction.
After using the steam function, the coffee machine will automatically purge itself and cool down, pumping
the hot water. During the hot water purge cycles, the steam remaining in the heating system is released with
the hot water into the drip tray. The machine emits a large amount of steam and noise while cooling down.
It is important to clean the steam device after each use, to prevent the milk from hardening and drying inside
the nozzle. To clean the nozzle, place the steam device in a small container filled with water and repeat the
previous process for at least 30 seconds.
Frothing device
-
Fill the water tank with fresh water up to the maximum ark and put the coffee machine at the I/O setting.
After a few minutes, the on/off lamps will stop flashing and the
button. During the preheating phase, the "on/off" lamps, the
will go off. Set the steam device so that it is aiming away from the coffee machine. Pour between 60 ml
and 85 ml of fresh milk into a container which is small enough to fit under the steam device. For best
results, both the milk and the container must be cold.
-
It is advisable to use pasteurised or long-life milk. Low-fat or skimmed full cream milk may produce
froth. As soon as the preheating indicator lamp stops flashing, submerge the steam device into the milk.
Turn the switch to the required steam setting. For best results, pour the froth from the bottom part of
the container and move it slightly upwards. Keep the nozzle at the bottom part of the container without
touching the button for 25 seconds. Then gradually lower the container so that the steam device moves
upwards to the surface of the milk. Do not submerge the nozzle completely in the milk, or allow the liquid
level to cover the black plastic ring on the top part of the nozzle.
IMPORTANT:
It is not safe to wash the espresso machine accessories in the dishwasher. Do not wash the scoop, drip tray,
filter holder or water tank in the dishwasher.
-
Always unplug the coffee machine before cleaning it and leave it to cool down to prevent burns. Wipe
the outside of the machine with a clean damp cloth. DO NOT use strong abrasive cleaning products or
cleaning products with alcohol/solvents to clean the coffee machine. Use only a mild liquid detergent and
hot water. After each use, rinse the water tank and empty it before putting it back in the coffee machine.
-
When a fine layer of powder starts to form in the tank, this indicates that it is necessary to use a
de-incrusting product lime scale-removing product. It is advisable to regularly remove these deposits
using a special cleaner.
The drip tray must be emptied every time the coffee machine is used. The presence of water in the drip
tray is normal, and is not a sign of filtrations. Lift the tray slightly and pull it outwards, to remove it from the
machine. If preparing several expressos one after another, the drip tray must be emptied after a certain
number of cups, to prevent overflowing. When emptying the drip tray, remove the metal tray and wash the
bottom compartment. If necessary, both the metal tray and compartment can be washed with hot water and a
mild liquid detergent. Rinse well and dry completely before putting the drip tray back into the coffee machine.
Check that when the tray is replaced, it is properly fitted in the coffee machine, to prevent leaks.

The filters and filter holders must be cleaned after each use.
-
Wipe the filters with a clean damp cloth.
-
Wash the filter holder with hot water and a mild liquid detergent. Do not use strong, abrasive cleaners
or cleaning products with alcohol/solvents to clean the adapter or filter holder. When cleaning the filter
holder, wash it with running water. Rinse well and dry carefully. When the coffee machine is not in use,
do not store the filter holder in the closed position. This will prevent the rubber seal from becoming worn.
