5.1 Before connecting the camera
5.1.1 Check your WiFi connection (2.4 GHz)
The camera will be connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your smartphone,
so it is essential to check that it is connected to the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network of
your Internet box.
CAUTION: Please ensure that your smartphone is connected to a 2.4 GHz
Wi-Fi band before starting the connection procedure. The device is only
compatible with a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi band.
If your router (internet box) supports both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, but
only one Wi-Fi network name is displayed, go to the box's configuration
page or consult your service provider to change the settings.
5.1.2 Location of the camera for connection
To avoid any connection problems, it is strongly advised not to carry out the
connection stage outdoors (reading the QR Code complicated by the light/sun,
Wi-Fi network out of range, etc.).
a. Connect the camera to a USB socket
b. Place the camera and your smartphone as close as possible to the internet
box
c. Avoid doing this near a window (backlight) or a strong light source to
facilitate reading the QR Code (next step)
