Wiring
Notes
• All wiring is supervised and power-limited.
• Before connecting the amplifier to the output wiring, test
the field wiring.
• Terminal blocks indicate the polarity for normal monitoring
of the circuit's electrical integrity.
• Use a power-limited and regulated 24 VDC primary or
auxiliary power supply that is UL/ULC Listed for fire
protective signaling systems. See "Specifications" for
active amplifier power requirements.
To connect the amplifier field wiring:
1. Connect the audio wiring to TB1 and TB2.
See Figure 2 for typical 1 VRMS and 25 VRMS wiring.
See Figure 3 for an example of typical backup wiring for a
1 VRMS application.
2. Connect signaling line circuit (SLC) wiring to TB3.
3. Connect audio riser wiring to TB4 and TB5. See Figure 3.
4. Connect auxiliary power wiring to TB6. See Figure 3.
5. Adjust the amplifier gain per control panel instructions.
See Figure 1 for the gain potentiometer location.
