The Platinum Series™ Sound Processor
Device Description
The Platinum Series sound processor is a miniature computer that
converts sound picked up by the microphone into electrical signals that
are used by the cochlear implant to enable hearing.
Using the Platinum Series Sound Processor
Powering the Platinum Series Sound Processor
The program control, on the left side of the control panel, is used to turn
the processor on and off, to select one of three programs, and to test the
headpiece microphone.
