9.2 EMERGENCY MAINTENANCE
9.2.1) Internal back-up battery
The tool is equipped with a back-up CR1620 battery. In the event the battery is completely empty, it will
not be possible to set and retain the date and time on the display, please contact CEMBRE for further
information.
When work has been completed, store the impact wrench by proceeding as follows:
Remove the battery from the wrench, thoroughly clean them with a dry cloth.
Carefully clean the wrench.
Place the wrench, batteries, battery charger in a sealed place free from dust, moisture and the risk of
accidental impact.
The optimum storage temperature of the batteries is between 10 °C and 30 °C (50 and 86 °F).
For better protection CEMBRE recommends the use of the VAL-TW-18B steel case to store the wrench,
batteries and battery charger.
