Responsibility for the preparation of the conditions for the installation of the device
and for the installation of the device itself lies with the user.
ASSEMBLY OF THE UNIT
• Check the technical condition of the device. Pay attention to any damage, cracks
and loose parts. Only a fully operational device may be used.
• Measure the width of the rail on which the device will run.
• Evenly space the side plates, filling the free spaces on the shaft with spacers. The
track width should be (maximum) 6 mm larger than the width of the rail on which
the device will run.
IMPORTANT: there should be at least 1 spacer on each side of the plate.
• Tighten both hex nuts securely.
• Make sure that the unit is properly close to the rail, each wheel rolls freely and
maintains good contact with the rail surface, and that the side plates are parallel.
• The lower part of the chain should be at a height of 100-500 mm from the ground
(only for models with their own chain drive: SBS-RT-5000C, SBS-RT-3000C, SBS-RT-
2000C, SBS-RT-1000C).
NOTE: Before first use, after assembling the unit, verify its operation by suspending
a light load and rolling the unit along the rail.
3.3.
Cleaning and maintenance
a)
Wait for the rotating parts to stop.
b)
Use only non-corrosive cleaning agents for cleaning the surfaces.
c)
After each cleaning, all the parts should be dried well before the unit is used
again.
d)
Store the unit in a dry and cool place protected from moisture and direct
sunlight.
e)
Do not spray the unit with a stream of water or immerse it in water.
f)
Perform regular inspections of the unit, checking technical fitness and any
damages.
g)
The bearing and track surface (as well as the gearbox on SBS-RT-5000C / SBS-
RT-3000C / SBS-RT-2000C / SBS-RT-1000C) should be periodically lubricated
with grease.
h)
Make sure that the unit is kept clean and that its moving parts are lubricated.
