Manhattan bed module

Please take a few minutes to read the instructions thoroughly. Failure to do so may result in damage to the product or in
worst case injury to your child.
WARNING: All assembly fastenings should always be tightened properly and that care should be taken that no fittings are
loose.
WARNING: The bed should not be used if any structural part is broken or missing. Use only replacement parts available
from Baby Dan A/S.
WARNING: The bed module is not suitable for children under six years due to the risk of injury from falls.
WARNING: Always use the fronts when the high bed module is mounted. When using the high bed module be aware that
it is not suitable for children under six years due to the risk of injury from falls.
WARNING: Children can be strangled in items such as ropes, strings, cords, harnesses and belts attached to or hung on a
bed.
WARNING: Children can become trapped between the bed and the wall. To avoid risk of serious injury the distance
between the top safety barrier and the wall shall not exceed 75 mm or shall be more than 230mm.
WARNING: Be aware of the risk of open fire and other sources of strong heat, such as electric bar fires, gas fires, etc. in
the near vicinity of the bed.
WARNING: Do not use the bed if any part is broken, torn or missing and use only spare parts approved by the
manufacturer.
WARNING: Do not leave anything in the bed or place the bed close to another product, which could provide a foothold or
present a danger of suffocation or strangulation, e.g. strings, blind/curtain cords, etc.
WARNING: Do not use more than one mattress in the bed.
WARNING: The top of the mattress must never be beyond the mark on the inner side of the bed.
WARNING: Be sure that all screws and fittings always are fastened and that there are no loose parts that the clothes or
parts of your child's body may get caught in (i.e. strings, chains, strings for soothers etc.). Do also regularly check that the
bed is not damaged in any way.
WARNING: Check periodically the screws and other mounting hardware are properly installed and tightened.
INFORMATION:
The bed module is suitable for children from the age of two years. We recommend using the front when the child starts
using the bed at this age.
Maximum thickness of the mattress is 10cm
Recommended size of the mattress is 70x160cm
The complete high bed complies with EN 747:2007
CARE OF YOUR PRODUCT:
Clean the bed using warm water and a mild detergent. Use a soft cloth to avoid scratches. Wipe dry with a firmly wrung
cloth. Never use solvents, chemicals scouring powders or sharp tools in connection with cleaning the bed.
