Introduction
To get the most out of your new personal
scale, please read through these
instructions before use.
Please also save the instructions in case you
need to refer to them at a later date.

Special safety instructions
Do not expose the electronics in the
personal scale to water or damp.
Do not subject the glass plate on the
personal scale to heavy blows or knocks.
The personal scale sends a weak
current through the body when taking
measurements. Do not use the personal
scale if you have a pacemaker or heart
problems. If necessary, consult your doctor

before using the personal scale.

Inserting the batteries

Open the battery compartment on the base
of the personal scale.
Insert 2 x 1.5 V AAA batteries. Check that the
batteries are correctly aligned, as indicated
in the battery compartment.
Close battery compartment lid.
Use
Follow the instructions in the diagram on
the next page to set yourself up as a user.
Place the personal scale on a solid, even
surface – tiled fl ooring for example. The
personal scale will not function properly if
they are used on a soft surface, such as a
carpet.
Press the UP or DOWN buttons to switch
the personal scale on and select your user
number.
Step onto the personal scale in bare feet
and stand still until the measurement has
been taken.
Step down off the scale. The results are
shown in the display.
The personal scale shuts off automatically
after a short time.
