Batteries
This device is operated with a button cell bat-
tery to save the time in the event of power failure.
Please note the following:
• Keep new and used batteries out of the reach
of children. Do not swallow batteries as they
can cause chemical burns.
WARNING!
Risk of chemical burns!
If a button cell battery is swallowed, it can
lead to serious internal burns within 2
hours that can lead to death.
Seek medical help immediately if you
think that batteries may have been
swallowed or secreted in any part of
the body.
• Stop using the device if the battery compart-
ment does not close properly, and keep it out
of reach of children.
• Before inserting the battery, check that the
contacts in the device and on the battery are
clean and, if necessary, clean them.
• Pay attention to the polarity (+/–) when insert-
ing the battery.
