Danger
Risk of accident while working on the unit.

Switch off the immersion pump in the
building.
Turn off the power supply.
Who may remedy faults?
Operator
Work designated with the sign "Operator"
may only be carried out by persons who
have been instructed in the safe operation
and maintenance of the system.
Fault
Possible cause
Plant out of order
Fuse F1 is burnt out.
Fault in the unit's power supply.
Power supply to the pump in the building is
interrupted.
Indicator Lamp
Filter inlay worn out.
"Fault" lit up.
Fuse F2 burnt out or motor filament filter de-
fective.
Fuse F3 burnt out or multiport valve drive
defective.
Processed water is
Filter pre-tension is not correct.
coloured or is foam-
ing too much
Filter inlay is defective (leaky)
Sludge collector or pump basin is dirty
Improper detergents are used in the wash-
ing hall
Cleaning dose is too high
Washing place cleaned with incompatible
detergents
Filter output is too
Filament filter is blocked

Immersion pump is blocked, defective
Pipe or valve is leaky, defective, blocked
Troubleshooting
Customer Service
Work designated with the sign "Cus-
tomer Service" may only be done by the
fitters of Kärcher Customer Service or
fitters who have been authorised by
Kärcher.
Remedy
Test the fuse, if necessary replace with new fuses
of the same capacity. (see "Fuses")
Check power supply and ensure proper supply.
Replace filter inlay (see "Maintenance and Servic-
ing")
Test the fuse, if necessary replace with new fuses
of the same capacity. (see "Fuses") If the fault per-
sists, call customer service.
Remove motor filament screws, push the motor
upwards, twist the filter inlay 90° to the right, push
the motor filament filter back down, tighten screws.
Replacing filter inlay
Emptying and cleaning the basins
Use compatible detergents; rinse the system, if
necessary
Check detergent dosing; reset, if necessary
Replace water and rinse the basins
Filament filter backwashing; replace filter inlay if
required.
Install a suitable immersion pump (see require-
ments under "Technical Data")
Clean, repair, replace immersion pump
Check pipes and valves; clean, repair or replace as
required
