to make toasted
sandwiches
G
Always use medium sliced square
bread. The slices must not be bigger
than the cage otherwise they may
not fit into the toaster or parts of the
sandwich will not be toasted.
G
Fillings such as thinly cut ham and
individually wrapped cheese slices
are suitable. Take care using
ingredients that could melt and run
out of the sandwich. Only use pre-
cooked ingredients or ingredients
that need to be warmed up. We do
not recommend the use of high fat
or similar fillings that may drip into
the toaster as this will be difficult to
clean and could present a fire risk.
G
Lightly butter one side of each slice
and place the filling in between the
unbuttered sides.

hints
G
We recommend the use of 1 or 2
day old bread. Slices should be
cleanly cut and not have ragged
edges.
G
Do not force thick slices of bread
into the toaster as difficulty may be
experienced in removing them.
Never insert broken pieces of bread.
