Electrical safety
1. Warning! The appliance is
switched on once connected to

Installation
•
Hang the appliance up or place it on a stable and
levelled surface at least 1.5 m off the ground and
out of reach of children. Ensure your place of
choice can carry the weight without damage or
material failure.

Preferably choose a location protected from other
light sources, as these may impair the insects'
interest for the appliance.
•
Avoid exposing the appliance to a draft, as this
may help insects to escape.

Cleaning and Care
•
Before cleaning, always unplug the appliance and
wait at least 1 minute for the electric load to be
discharged.
•
Do not clean the appliance with steel wool, strong
chemicals, alkaline, abrasive or disinfecting
agents, as they may damage the surface of the
appliance.
•
Do not immerse the appliance in water or other
liquids to clean it. Make sure that the electrical
parts of the appliance do not become wet or
damp.
•
Clean the body with a soft damp cloth and, if
necessary, a little mild detergent. Wipe with a dry
and soft cloth.
•
Regularly remove insect remains from the guard
(3) and empty the insect collecting tray (6).
•
Brush out the housing, guard (3) and insect
collecting tray (6) with a soft brush.
•
The frequency of cleaning is dependent on
the amount of insects in your home and the
frequency of use.
•
The appliance may only be used again or stored
after it is dried completely.

recyclable and should not be discarded
in the domestic waste! Please actively
