WATER DISPENSING, CHECK THAT THE STEAM
SPOUT (PANNARELLO OR CAPPUCCINATORE)
IS DIRECTED OVER THE DRIP TRAY.

PREPARING CAPPUCCINO
Danger of burns! Brewing may be preceded
by short sprays of hot water. The brewing
spout may reach high temperatures: do not touch
it with bare hands.
• If the machine is off, turn it on by means of the main
switch.
• The machine ready led fl ashes. Wait until it remains
permanently on.
• Press the steam button. The machine needs
another warming phase.
• During this warming phase the machine ready led
fl ashes; wait until it is permanently on. The machine
is now ready to eject steam.
Warning: do not use steam when the
cappuccinatore or the pannarello have been
removed. Danger of burns!
• Direct the cappuccinatore towards the drip tray;
open the "hot water/steam" dispenser for a few
seconds to discharge any water left in the cap-
puccinatore; in a short time, only steam will come
out of the spout.
• Close the "hot water/steam" dispenser.
Note: sprays of hot water may come out
from the suction pipe; if necessary direct
the pipe towards the drip tray.
• Insert the suction pipe into the milk container.
• Place a cup below the cappuccinatore, ensuring
that it cannot fall.
• Open the "hot water/steam" dispenser and dis-
pense milk into the cup.
