53ABRTH – AVEBUS DEHUMIDIFIER ACTUATOR – 2 MOD. DIN
The 53ABRTH device, when combined with the 44xABTMH-SO
temperature and humidity probe, allows dehumidification to be
controlled to control relative humidity.
It is equipped with two outputs to control both the valve and ventilation
of the dehumidification device. It is integrated in the AVEbus home
automation system for home comfort management in home and
building automation systems. The article is made in a plastic container
- 2 mod. DIN.

AveBus parameters
Absorption (C)
C = 0.1 (85 µAMAX , 70 µAAVG)
Auxiliary power supply
It can be supplied either from a SELV source or from the 230 Vac mains voltage.
SELV source
Rated voltage:
12 Vac/dc
Permitted variation:
10.5 V: 14V
Absorption @ 12 Vdc:
2.1 mA AVG (stand-by)
32 mA MAX (2 relays ON)
Absorption @ 12 Vac:
7.4 mA RMS (stand-by)
89 mA RMS MAX(2 relays ON)
Mains voltage
Rated voltage:
230 Vac
Permitted variation:
190 Vac – 253 Vac
Mains frequency:
50 Hz – 60 Hz
Max. absorption @ 230 Vac:
Active: P = 1.6 W
Apparent: S = 2.1 VA (9 mA cosµ 0.76)
Actuator
Relay with 1 closing contact (1 A / 250 Vac) potential-free.
Minimum contact opening distance of less than 3 mm, and in any event no less than 1.2 mm, to ensure
functional interruption and not safety insulation.
Safety distances between exchange contact and internal active parts: 6 mm (surface and in air).
Nominal load
Ohmic load (cosµ 1):
1 A @ 230 Vac
Motor load:
1 A @ 230 Vac
Overload and short-circuit protection
Fuse:
T 4 A H 250 Vac
Signal LEDs (L1, L2)
Two light signals are visible on the front, indicating both the status of the outputs and, during
programming, the status of the device. An unlit LED indicates that the contact is open, while a lit LED
indicates that the contact is closed. If only LED L2 is flashing, it indicates that the contact is delayed
and is waiting to be closed.

Installation and Maintenance Rules
Installation and maintenance operations must be performed by qualified personnel in compliance with
the regulations governing the installation and maintenance of electrical equipment in force in the country
where the products are installed.
• Before working on the system, disconnect the power using the main switch
• This device complies with the relevant standard in terms of electrical safety, when it is
installed in suitable DIN containers.
• If this device is used for purposes not specified by the manufacturer, the protection provided
could be compromised.
WEEE - Information for users
The crossed-out bin symbol on the appliance or on its packaging indicates that, at the end of
its life, the product must be collected separately from other waste. The user must therefore deliver
the equipment to appropriate separate collection centres for electrotechnical and electronic waste.
Alternatively, the equipment can be handed over, free of charge, to the distributer when a new piece
of equivalent equipment is purchased. Distributors of electronic products with a sales area of at least
400 m2 can also deliver electronic products to be disposed of with a size of less than 25 cm free of
charge, with no obligation to purchase. An efficient separate waste collection leading to the subsequent
recycling of the disused appliance, or disposal compatible with the environment contributes to avoiding
negative effects on the environment and health and favours the re-use and/or recycling of the materials
which the components of the appliance are made of.
Operation
The device is designed to be integrated in temperature control systems with a supervisor. Normal
operation is to activate dehumidification in the summer season. In particular, this is achieved via:
• an On/Off (instantaneous) contact for refrigerant circulation;
• an On/Off contact (closed with delay) for ventilation activation;
