· Refrain from touching the mini hotplate or the power plug when your hands are wet or
moist.
· Connect the device to a properly installed power socket only. Do not use any multiple
socket that is already being used to run other appliances. The plug and cord must be
dry.
· Only us the mini hotplate under supervision and for the intended purpose only to prepare
and heat up food in suitable cookware.
· Do not use this appliance as a space heating.
· This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe
way and understand the hazards involved. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be
made by children, unless they are older than 8 years and supervised. Keep the appliance
and its cord out of the reach of children less than 8 years.
· Children shall not play with the device.
· Never operate this device with an external timer or a separate remote control system.
· Only operate the appliance on non-flammable, flat, stable and sufficiently heat resistant
surfaces and not near water sources, other hotplates, gas flames or other sources of heat
and out of the reach of children.
· Ensure that no inflammable bodies (paper, dishtowels, etc.) are close to the mini hotplate.
· In order to avoid possible risk of fire, the distance between the appliance and all walls
has to be at least 10 cm. Keep the space above the appliance free and ensure free air
circulation. This appliance is not intended to be built in into any worktops. Danger of
burns!
· Avoid smashing or kinking the power cord or having contact to hot surfaces or liquids
and abrasion on sharp edges.
· Do not allow the power cord to dangle and place the device in a way that no one can
fall over the cord.
Risk of burns or injury!
Caution: During use the housing surfaces and especially the heating plate get
very hot. Even after use there is residual heat. For protection use oven mitts or oven
gloves.
· Do not carry or move the appliance as long as it is in operation and as long as it is hot.
Do not carry the hot plate as long as e.g. a coffee maker stands on the plate.
· Do not use the appliance as a tray or worktop.
