3.2.
Preparation for operation
POSITIONING OF THE UNIT
Keep the appliance away from any hot surfaces. Always operate the device on an
even, stable, clean and dry surface and out of the reach of children and persons
with impaired mental, sensory and intellectual functions.
It is recommended to mount the device onto the surface of the worktop. There are
special mounting holes in the base where you need to insert the bolts and screw
the device to the working surface.
Before first use, disassemble all components and wash them, as well as wash the
entire device in warm water with mild detergent.
ASSEMBLY/DISASSEMBLY OF THE DEVICE
The device is delivered ready for use. The unit must be disassembled in order to
clean it before the first use: - loosen the wing nuts at the ends of the crossbeam,
- raise the crossbeam and the spindle with the pressure plate,
- remove the internal basket from the external tank,
- remove the external tank from the base,
- wash all the elements, rinse with fresh, warm water and dry with a soft towel.
- to assemble, repeat those steps in the opposite order.
3.3.
Working with the device
1. Place the base on a stable surface as described in section 3.2.
2. Place a filter bag inside the basket (4).
