1. Disconnect the building-side connecting
cable from the power supply and secure it
against being switched on again. To do
this, trip the corresponding circuit breaker
of the house installation.
2. First, assemble the lampshade ("Figure
1"). First, slide the plastic rings placed on
the three metal pins provided to the rear.
Now use the pins to fasten the lampshade:
insert them one after the other through the
holes provided in the glass and screw them
hand-tight as far as they will go.
3. Carefully slide the rings approx. 3mm
down to fix the lampshade. Make sure that
the screen does not wobble. Otherwise,
adjust the fastening again. During the
following actions, take care not to damage
the glass screen.
4. Wall mounting ("Figure 2"): Remove the
mounting plate (1) by loosening the screws
(2). Then carefully lay the light on its side
so that it cannot be damaged.
5. Drill holes (6 mm Ø) in the mounting
base and insert the supplied dowels there.
The positioning of the holes should
correspond to those of the screw holes (3)
on the mounting plate. Make sure that the
dowels are flush with the substrate.
6. Then fix the mounting plate (1) to the
mounting base using the screws provided.
7. Place the light back on the mounting
plate (1). Then retighten the screws (2) to
fix the light to the mounting plate. Now
insert the lamp and plug it into the socket.
The installation is now complete.
