(+ and -) to set zero as target angle. The words "No SET" will be shown on
the top left angle of the display.
The value of the angle can now be read on the display (ANGLE). To set the
value to zero and start a new measurement, press button 2 (zero).
Dead Battery Signal
When the batteries go down below minimum voltage, the display will show
the words "Battery low Press Zero SW...". Pressing button 2 (zero) allows
a few more measurements to be made, until the instrument goes out.
When this message is displayed, the batteries should be replaced as soon
as possible.
Battery Replacement
To replace the batteries, open the door of the battery compartment (8) on
the back, taking out the screw (9).
Install the new batteries, with correct polarity.
Put back the cover of the battery compartment and drive in the locking screw (9).
Operation Notes
The instrument measures the rotation angle on the extension axis compa-
red to an internal reference system of its own. To avoid tightening errors
when working on engines or mechanical parts clamped on stands, it is very
important that the stand does not move while the screw is being tightened.
To fully reset the instrument, remove the batteries for a few minutes; then
put them back in.
