The cooking pot (5) can be washed in a dishwasher or in warm, soapy water.
Rinse the pot with clean water or wipe with a cloth and leave to dry before placing it in the
pressure cooker.
USING YOUR PRESSURE COOKER
1. Remove the lid. Grasp the handle securely and then turn it clockwise into position. Then
pull the handle up. (See Figures 1 and 2).
2. Remove the cooking pot. Add food and the required amount of cooking liquid to the pot.
The maximum level of the food and liquid should not exceed 4/5 of the pot. For foods
that increase in volume, the maximum capacity is 3/5 of the pot including the cooking
liquid. The minimum capacity is 1/5 of the pot. (See Figures 3, 4 and 5).
3. Wipe the pressure cooker housing with a dry cloth and check there is nothing inside.
Before putting food in the pot, check there is nothing between the cooking pot and the
heating plate. Rotate the cooking pot to the left and the right in order to check that it is
in the correct position. (See Figure 6).
4. Programming product data and how to get started (See the "PROGRAMMING YOUR
PRESSURE COOKER" section). Plug in the appliance. The control panel light will come
on. Next, select one of the specific function buttons.
5. Close the lid as follows.
Check that the rubber sealing ring and the anti-blockage cover are correctly in place.
(See Figures 11, 12 and 13).
Holding the lid handle, place the lid on top of the pressure cooker and turn it
anticlockwise until you hear a "click". This means the lid is in place. (See Figures 7 and 8).
6. Turn the pressure regulator valve until it reaches the sealed position. (See Figure 9).
7. Once the "MANT.CALIENTE/KEEP WARM" indicator light is illuminated, turn
the pressure regulator valve to the "VENT" (Ventilation) position and steam
will be released from the pressure cooker.

Timer function: To activate the delay-start setting timer, press the "Timer" button once.
The pressure cooker will delay cooking for 30 minutes. If you want to delay the start of
cooking by 2 hours, press the timer 4 times (the screen will display 2:00). At the end of all the
programmes, the appliance will make a beeping sound to indicate that cooking is complete.
When a function or programme has been selected, whilst the pressure cooker is heating up,
the "CALENTANDO/HEATING" indicator light will be illuminated.
