INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
NOTE:
•
An assistant and pair of Side Cutters is advised for step #4
•
If you are installing the lighted air intake screen (WBP WSS564 or 50832008) you will need to splice
into the factory harness to allow all lighting functions to perform correctly. Refer to the table below
when connecting the factory truck harness to intake screen harness
1. Remove (2) Torx bolts from OE Intake assembly located just in front of the light or air intake opening and discard.
REMOVE AND DISCARD THESE 2 TORX
2. Open hood and remove (2) Torx bolts from OE intake to remove intake from hood.
3. Slightly pull OE Intake assembly away from hood and slide up. (Note: black plastic intake hooks under the cutout at the front
of hood).
4. If applicable, snip wire tie inside OE Intake assembly and unplug wiring from light.
5. Set assembly on a clean, soft surface and remove remaining Torx bolts that affix the black plastic and light to assembly.
6. Peel protective plastic from stainless replacement intake in the area indicated below.
7. To locate the new stainless intake, hand thread (a couple of turns) the bolts previously removed into their corresponding
locations, followed by tightening the angled tabs to the light securing both into place.

- Página 2 8. Remove the two smaller sized Torx locating bolts and place a supplied plastic spacer between the stainless and OE Chrome Cover. Install and tighten. ADD NYLON SPACERS IN THESE LOCATIONS 9. Re-connect wiring and place assembly back onto the hood cut out. Ensure the stainless is seated properly within the recess (paying special attention to the front area) and secure assembly in place.

Pour placer la nouvelle prise d’air en acier inoxydable, vissez à la main de quelques tours les boulons retires précédemment dans les emplacements correspondants, puis serrez les onglets en angle à la lumière pour les maintenir en place. 8. Retirez les deux plus petits boulons Torx et placez une entretoise de plastique entre l’acier inoxydable et le couvert de chrome OEM.

Para localizar la nueva admisión inoxidable, enrosque a mano (un par de vueltas) los tornillos previamente quitados en sus correspondientes localizaciones, seguido de apretar las pestañas anguladas a la luz asegurando ambos en su lugar. 8. Quite los dos pernos Torx pequeños localizando los tornillos y coloque los espaciadores plásticos provistos entre la pieza inoxidable y la cubierta cromada OE.
