The quality of the water supply must meet the
requirements set out by current regulations.
If the water is very hard we recommend, for a
good working of the machine, to install a suitable
purifier.
The minimum working pressure of the machine is
2 bar, the maximum working pressure is 6 bar.
If the water supply system to which the inlet hose
is to be connected has a pressure exceeding the
above maximum value for the machine, a pressure
reducer must be installed.
The water supply system must also have a suitable
capacity.
If pressure is too low, install a hydraulic pressure booster pump.
The inlet hose (a) must be connected to the machine with a proper washer (b), screwed up directly onto
the electromagnetic valve threaded attachment.
The washer must be adequately tightened, to prevent the hose from either breaking off or being
throttled. The opposite end of the hose must be connected to a threaded water supply tap.
WARNING: You are strongly advised not to stretch the hose nor bend it, as it might
get throttled.
The machine drain hose (a) must be inserted into
a water drain.
WARNING: The machine is always drained by letting the water fall down (unless a
drain pump is installed). It is therefore necessary to place the drain hose almost
vertically, with an angle (X), to prevent water from stagnating and possibly blocking
the hose. Please also avoid bending the hose.
After going through the checks listed at the beginning of this chapter, you can proceed and connect the
machine to the mains. Please remember that the machine has been tested for connection according to
its technical features, as reported on the machine data plate. Connect the machine to the mains by
proceeding as follows:
connect the power supply cable to the mains by means of a fuse bearing switch (this operation must be
carried out by an expert electrician).
Supply voltage 220/240 V in versions OCEANO 35 / 40 / 50.
Supply voltage 380/410 V + neutral + earth in version OCEANO 60.
Power connection is completed when the machine has a good earthing.
Please remember that machine earthing is strictly prescribed by current safety regulations.
